Labs is a design & innovation team bringing agile, user centered design to FCDO ways of working. FCDO has a worldwide network of over 280 embassies & consulates. This body is responsible for foreign & development policy so this means safeguarding the UK’s national security by countering terrorism & working to reduce conflict as well as building the UK’s prosperity by increasing exports, investment & sustainable growth. In addtion supporting British nationals around the world through digital and efficient consular services

Moving the needle

  • Promoted Labs growth by organizing speaks like Amy Herman to come to speak about the Art of Perception within Diplomacy

  • Presented key projects at townhalls & stakeholder meetings

  • Constantly exercised my L&D opportunities in Scotland & Helsinki to give back to my colleagues and practice

  • Assisted organizing an away week that was the first of its kind

  • Closed silos, by promoted cross directorate by facilitating conversations

  • Worked on 4 projects spanning across different landsapces and design complexities

  • On the biggest project I helped moved it from Discovery to BAU
